Mario should stay since it's really not the games that are being milked (except, perhaps, Mario Party). I enjoy seeing Mario games, and they most definitely aren't the same thing over and over again. The exceptions that look the same are the NSMB series, Mario Kart, and Mario Party.

Final Fantasy should stop, it's kind of ridiculous that there's now 14 of them, not including the spin offs and remakes. They should do what they did with Bravely Default, make a new name, new franchise and take some risks.

Assassin's Creed should stop, mostly because it's kind of ridiculous to have released two games last year, and another two games this year. People are going to get tired of it, especially since most people thought it would have ended with 3.

Zelda should continue. The games are hardly the same from each other, and Nintendo seems to be promising to take some risks with the series so I do not want to see this stop before we get to see what direction the franchise will go. I also don't know what 17 games have been released since 2000. Are you including the remakes, rereleases, etc?

As for the rest, I have little to no opinion on.
