Mario Party 2

---

That last turn always makes the difference, and winning with 4 people makes you a man.

mario party? epic?...... mario party? epic????

as much as i love the mario party games on the n64, epic is no where to be found in those games

Say that to 3 fully grown men who exist in real life sitting right beside you under the influence of alcohol.

I think that's scarier and more "epic" then anything in a video game.

then clearly you havent played god of war 3, yes, its just that epic

I have, and I just don't understand the facination with this game. Yea you're fighting Giants and jumping ridiculous distances, but I never really liked these games. God of War was never my style of game, and I wouldn't consider it epic because never in those game did I feel like Kratos couldn't do the mission. He was always given an massive ammount of power, and the game just plays too linear.

I think a game is epic when it makes you panic, when you're really pressed to see if your skills as a player are enough to accomplish the goal, and when the story is set up so well, you question if your character can do the impossible.

I could name a ton of games more Epic. Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2 (Sheppards Death and recreation was pretty damn epic), Gears of War series (Sinking Jacinto, first encounter with a Berserker, etc), Half Life's 1 ending (Alien in another dimension? Pretty epic), Ocarina of Times End, Vanquish Boss fights (and especially challenge 6 in challenge mode), XenoBlade Chronicles (The f***en Giants start killing people on them like bugs!) etc, etc.
