i'm talking about a gaming pc.

Given the system requirements of PC/console multiplats pretty much anything qualifies. My brother has five year old PC and he plays Skyrim at mid-high settings at least.

Well your pretty much wrong if you brother bought a pc 5 year ago, he must have bought one with gaming machine in mind  as well, if he bought a decent/cheap  one 5 years ago, it would not be able to play to games at a decent frame rate.

He didn't bought it with gaming in mind, because he has a X360. He got a low-end Pentium core 2 quad, 4GB of Ram and a crappy GPU.

Lated he decided that it was better to use his money to upgrade the GPU instead of paying for Live and DLCs. Now the only X360 thing he uses is the controller to play on the PC.
