NIntendo's eshop patches are for free, not a single cost. And devs decide when they are released. Still they need the Seal of Approval like any other one. See, when people don't inform themselves well they tend to be ignorants.
There is one reason why indie devs are jumping the Wii U bandwagon. They know what the deal is. Big third party publishers are the only one bashing Nintendo so far.
