However, my biggest complaint comes from one of its most innovative changes to the traditional RPG. Having everyone attack for 1s and 2s. This in the begninning created a lot of thought and strategy and placed charging attacks a priority in some cases and discouraged them in others. My complaint is that, towards the end youstart attack for 6s and 8s which eliminates a lot of the uniqnuess of the battle system. I felt like it was more challeneging and overall more fun back when I would jump for juy because I hit for 3

What? In every single RPG your damage is going to get higher as you go through the game. If you don't want to see the visual of doing 6-8 damage don't use Power Pluses.
A bigger complaint would be that the enemy HP in relation to damage doesn't scale that well later on. In the beginning of the game you'll do like 1, 2, MAYBE 3 hits to an enemy and it'll die. At the end of the game, you'll do 1, 2 MAYBE 3 hits to an enemy and it'll die. Only bosses seem to scale well.

It is true, that all games increase damage as it progresses, but almost none of them made attacking for 1s and 2s and main feature and that if you fighting something too powerful, it is absolutely impossible to defeat. It stayed at that amount for a long time and I think it owuld have been more interesting is the defense of the monsters increased rather than their health. I was very impressed with the unexpected strategy of fighting with 1 damage that I was dissapointed when it became necissary to attack for more. Maybe it was inevitable but that was how I felt.
