That happens to be Sony's shipment figure for the end of 2007, sorry.
The shipment figures for each company were:
Wii - 20.13 million
PS3- 10.5 million
360- 17.7 million
at the same time VGC had (roughly because this is to the 28th/29th December instead of the 31st)
Wii - 19.37 million
PS3- 8.84 million
360- 16.12 million

there is a difference between the three companies figures, which are all what they have sold TO retail chains (known as shipped) and what VGC reports, which is the number of consoles that have been sold FROM retail chains.
There will always be a difference between the two, the size of the difference depends on the amount of stock that is in retail hands (be that on store shelves, or in the retailers stock warehouses etc) and the number that have actually been soldto someone intending to use it.
