My PS1 was part of a defective shipment that crapped out after a few years. The same happened to my first PS2. My PS3, meanwhile, stopped reading disks, so I ended up replacing it with a Slim that has worked well since.
I've had pretty shitty luck with Sony's consoles. On top of those issues, I ended up losing my fat PSP and several games a few years back, and the slim I've got now is iffy about reading UMDs. I can't wait to see how my PS Vita breaks down. :p
