Drakengard sucked. Drakengard 2 was just okay. Nier was enjoyable though (bonus points for the soundtrack).

Of course, I'm guessing this game builds off Drakengard 2, and not Nier.

 I actually enjoyed Drakengard 1 and 2. The storyline/characters/dark atmosphere was great.

I didn't like the gameplay much, especially in the first one, and I kind of hated everyone but the dragon. I never earned the Nier ending, but it made me happy to learn that the entire world died in a horrific invasion of giant cannibal babies...

Mmmm....good times....
