Seriously, we need to place a moratorium on Pachter quotes. The guy's analyses are shallow, reactionary, and above all wrong. He's famous for being wrong.
He actually makes some cogent points in this latest diatribe, but his bitterness ruins the message. He seems to want to be a celebrity more than an analyst. Here's a clue: a good analyst should be made famous for his thoughtful analyses, his insightful predictions, and his ability to measure the intangibles of the industry; he shouldn't be famous for being a jerk.
