Why are people on these forums obsessed with exclusives but ignore multiplatform games?

Yeah, but on the flipside Nintendo had a lot of exclusives even though the majority of them werent gems. Nintendo not getting multiplats is their own fault and it always has been.

In a way that's true, but not in the way you mean.

@OP: I think fans of a single hardware manufacturer use exclusive games, metacritic scores, and game-of-the-year awards to defend their company of choice. It's propaganda, to be perfectly frank. If the conversation moved from "exclusive games" to just "games," we would all be a lot better off. But I think asking some people to look beyond the brand and celebrate the medium is too much.
