As I m playing Tomb Raider (2013) right now and having played all the three Uncharted. This new tomb raider has clear influence of uncharted on it. Also who influenced whom, I would say there have been lot of batman movies. some of them good and some of them just nipples. Just like Tomb raider series. Then came Batman begins which showed batman in different light more realistic, not superhuman (ND, drakes fortune). Then came The Dark Knight which became the best superhero movie of all time (Uncharted 2 Among thieves). Finally "The Dark Knight rises" which was not good as "The Dark Knight" but better then "begins" (Uncharted 3 Drakes deception) Now the next batman will be compared to Nolans trilogy, and hopefully will be influenced by it in someway or the other, like Tomb Raider (2013) is influenced by Uncharted but still there will be people who would disagree. |
Thats one of the best Uncharted analogies Ive heard in a while. The consistency of the franchise is its hallmark. Tomb Raider has finally found its groove so all of the non PS3 owners or the people who dont like Uncharted are looking for reasons to shut it down when the breath of life that was given back to Tomb Raider is clear as day.
