This. Ninty "killed" Wii far too early. Doing it actually almost killed the Wii name itself, so it made it a lot less attractive, and useless or even counterproductive to use it again in its successor's name. OTOH Nintendo games still rule, but this time they must fight against a console name tha has become tarnished.
