It'll all come down to sales.

Because sales did WONDERS for the Wii.

The fact is NIntendo lost 3rd party support long ago. It doesn't matter what they put out it will still not get the titles that have any meaning.

I think that had they released a real next gen console with 4-6 GBs or RAM, a decent CPU and GPU (even both slightly less powerful than PS4), they would have got regular 3rd party support like PS4/X720 are about to get. Releasing a console with such low specs means that they aren't even trying to get 3rd parties back and it's actually Nintendo that's ignoring 3rd parties and their needs, not the other way round.

I think the Wii U at this level is a joke on Nintendo's part. Considering the ridiculous cash they made on Wii and 3DS I expected more. And even after the release of the Wii U I believed it was more powerful than what people were saying. I'm disappointed, but I'll still pick it up for around 150 just to play those few 1st party games. I guess that was Nintendo's strategy from the get-go. That's why they want to lose as little money on each Wii U sold as possible. They are repeating the GCN strategy, as I've thought for a year already.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.
