It's not that they lost somebody who didn't buy many games, it's that they lost potential growth.

That's a service, not a publisher. Unless you're proposing that EA will suddenly start making games that appeal to you in the future, there's not really much relation.

You're saying that EA's Origin isn't like Steam?

EA do make money from all games on Origin, whether they're EA published or not...
