Which indirectly helps my point. Your boycotting EA means next to nothing, because your EA purchases are next to nothing. Meanwhile, the folks who have been keeping EA afloat all these years will likely continue to plunk down their money for the next Sports game/Bioware title/other EA game.

I also didn't give a shit about Steam until I had to use it with Civilisation V, and now I have hundreds of titles I otherwise wouldn't have had.

It's not that they lost somebody who didn't buy many games, it's that they lost potential growth.
