exactly reviewers are getting bored of god of war because lets face it is sony's NSMB and M$ gears of war there isn't a lot of change between installments and the only thing new this one adds it looks like tacked on multiplayer 

Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3. Did each sequel reinvent the franchise or innovate 3rd person shooters? No, they didn't, yet all these games scored 90+ on Metacritic.

God of War 1, 2 and 3 all got the same scores that Gears 1, 2 and 3 did. Its cool as fuck actually xD (Aside from Gears 3 which got 91 and God of War 3 got 92)
