I wasn't going to buy it anyway as soon as I found out it was always online and no option to burn your city to the ground then reload an older save to do it again.
PC gaming has become a disappointment in the last few years. Age of empires online, MS flight, Diablo 3, now Sim city. Other big games get interfaces tailored to consoles as if the mouse suddenly doesn't exist anymore.
All pc is good for nowadays is indie games and prettier graphics. The first is why I still bother with the platform at all.
