If the franchises are loved then why has the Wii U shifted so little? There is a Mario game on the Wii U, and yet the sales are so low, people are questioning the future of Nintendo. How can a franchise that is so loved result in such poor performance?

95%? Okay you are literally just making numbers up. I'm not about to have a debate with someone who dismisses Forbes and then makes up numbers to suit his argument.

Also, ironic that you say you're not going to argue about the name of the Playstation, and yet were the one to bring it up...

1st part - Would you buy a system that cost $350 just for one game? I wouldnt. Maybe that is...why its doing so bad? Again...THIS discussion had nothing to do with the OP - my answer is still relevant though, Mario is appealing to the masses - as more customers and more units get sold,  eventually more copies of the games get sold as well.

2nd part - If I had said 100% or higher than I would be making up a number. I wasnt even going to debate with a person who gets a tantrum over people's opinions of alcohol or what they call a certain system to begin with.

3rd Part - No its just funny mentioning it cause you get worked up over something so irrelevant and small.

People bought the PS3 when it had Lair....

Can you prove Mario is appealing to the masses? If that's true then why have the masses not adopted the Wii U like the Wii?

Bringing up other topics is just an ad hominem and completely irrelevant. The fact that you did make up the 95% number shows that you have no idea how actual debate works (guessing you're still in High School?) and aren't interested in having a debate. I'll carry on this debate when your argument matures.
