You said the Nintendo franchises are loved by the masses. I said if that was the case, surely the Wii U would have sold more. In other words, Nintendo franchises are not loved by the masses, evident by the low Wii U sales.

Yes Nintendo franchises are loved and WELL known by the masses. I can go to a person and literally ask them if they played a Mario, Pokemon, Donkey Kong or Zelda game and 95% chance they'll say yes they played it (and or loved it). You cant say the same thing about Sony's franchises (the recent ones) or Majority of Microsoft's (except for Halo but that is thin compared to Nintendo's impact on the industry and the world).

And lol giving the argument of a system that costs more than its current competitors and that it only has one GREAT game that has 1.50+ mil copies sold which is like half of the total hardware, yes mario is not popular at all -ya u right, those 1.85 mil copies were just bought cause the covers looked pretty l0l

Anyways again you are the one who is going off topic and I'm going to ask you again

What part of my original posts (first two) where I stated that its because of Mario being known and loved by the masses for years considered to be a wrong statement/opinion to the topic. What part of my post was wrong, please explain it to me without mentioning the Wii-U which is irrelevant to the main point of the topic.

If the franchises are loved then why has the Wii U shifted so little? There is a Mario game on the Wii U, and yet the sales are so low, people are questioning the future of Nintendo. How can a franchise that is so loved result in such poor performance?

95%? Okay you are literally just making numbers up. I'm not about to have a debate with someone who dismisses Forbes and then makes up numbers to suit his argument.

Also, ironic that you say you're not going to argue about the name of the Playstation, and yet were the one to bring it up...
