Vita isn't quality. The hardware is, yes, but that doesn't matter when the software appeals only to a slim fraction of core gamers. The problem with the Vita is that it is positioned as secondary to the PS3. The 3DS, on the other hand, stands on its own and doesn't rely on big brother WiiU. Look at the core games for Vita...they're ports and spin-offs of major PS3 titles. You have to be pretty darn dedicated to those series to pick up a Vita, and most people can only take so much Assassin's Creed or Sport-Game 20XX. Unless the Vita can establish a library of unique games that stand on their own merit, it won't be going anywhere.
