I think I agree with kingofwale on this one. Seeing as there is apparently no definition, I will give my take. Casual should refer to games like Wii Sports and Carnival games. Games that have little depth or storyline to engage the player. Non-traditional would be better suited for games like this new game Sadness that is supposed to come out for the Wii some time in the future.
