The tablet isn't as big a system seller as motion controls, that much is obvious. But that's not why it's failing; it's failing because the software is almost all (A) ports that people can just get on their PS3 or 360, or (B) aimed at an audience outside the Wii U's price range. If the Wii had cost $350 instead of $250 it would have had a much slower start.
