Just pull up the sales figures guys. WiiU is set to go worse than the DC at this current rate.

The DC didn't have Mario Kart, Smash Bros, 3D Mario, Zelda, etc. ;)


So when they come out, it might just bump it up to a DC flop, rather than beating it with a WiiU flop !

The DC was bogged down by the failure of the Saturn and the 32x and Sega CD before it, plagued by piracy, and lacked Nintendo's heavy hitting franchises. The Wii U's problems are trivial in comparison to the Dreamcast's woes. There's pretty much no way the Wii U won't significantly outsell the Dreamcast.

Well sadly the epxerts don;t agree with you and would say the WiiU has many problems, not just a lack of games.

First of all, the amount of time the "experts" have been proven horribly wrong in this industry is astounding; they predicted Dreamcast level sales for the Wii, which is now nearing 100 million.

Secondly, that article made no comparison with the Dreamcast.

The Wii U isn't pirated to hell like the Dreamcast was. The Wii U isn't coming after a series of failures like the Dreamcast was. The Wii U has 8-digit selling franchises, which the Dreamcast lacked.

"experts"?? Yes, experts. The people who have degrees and experience. You really don't have a leg to stand on to argue otherwise, and when have they been wrong? They got SW:TOR perfectly right to every fans horror and screaming. They said the Wii would fail? Yeah - maybe some guy, not Forbes.

I linked the article to show you that the WiiU does have problems beyond just lacking games, just as the DC had more than one problem...not that they have the same problem.

Well that's nice, but how are they going to address 5 of those points?  You just skirted around the issue and said "but its Nintendo so they'll be fine amiright?"..no, not really.
