They are not a competitor yet but if Microsoft doesn't give me backwards compatibility with the next Xbox I will instead go with the Steambox for all my gaming purchases moving forward.
These companies have to take the idea of ecosystem seriously... I spent over a 1000 bucks on digital download on the 360 and expect this library to follow me around moving forward.
