Yes and no. Mostly yes, actually, if only to help clean up some of the excessive, barely cloaked trolling in here at times. I've been a mod at two forums, a writers forum where everyone was so nice that it was barely needed and a fitness and training forum where everyone was legally retarded (no longer a member) and had writing, argumentation and comprehension skills like a caveman with brain damage and dyslexia. I've also been in here a very long time, probably a big advantage.
