MiiVerse confirmed. And all next Gen will probably copy this like Miis and other stuff.

what the hell are you talking about?

Nintendo = Miiverse

Sony = Home/Facebook

Microsoft = Avatars/MySpace/Facebook

and the copying part?

Uhh...uhhh I'll get back to you on that once I get to the Nintendo portion of my mind and figure that out as well.

hahaha or we just let him explain himself ? :P

lol, I seriously need to?  OK.

These:

Look somewhat like these:

This:

bears a passing resemblence to this:

And now Nintendo came up with this idea of MiiVerse, "single player which is not alone".  It's a great concept, you wander through the world of NSMBU and you get pop-ups from other players saying they just beat a level without taking damage, using the racoon suit is the way to find the secret exit and so on.  You are always playing with friends.  Going forward, 3rd parties will incorporate it, and other consoles will copy/come up with something similar.  Sony has already announced they are, likely involving Facebook in some way.  I'm glad they are, it's a great feature.  But what Ubisoft is talking about is Miiverse.  It's one of the nice innovations of Wii U.

i guess if anyone makes a low poly character its copying nintendo huh?

and gosh!!   "It's a great concept, you wander through the world of NSMBU and you get pop-ups from other players" ohh gosh!!! dude DEAMONS SOULS. PLAY THAT GAME!! it did EXACTLY THAT. a game SONY released in 2009

ohh how exactly is Miiverse innovative? social connectivity? yeah that never happened on ps3/360/ps vita, not  even one bit. its like a forum? VERY innovative indeed!!  geez man atleast think about what your saying before you post a load of crap

"You are always playing with friends.  Going forward, 3rd parties will incorporate it, and other consoles will copy/come up with something similar" yeah dude its called Co-Op. just because nintendo did something for the first time doesnt mean it innovated it.

what sony is doing with GaiKai, thats innovative. MiiVerse isnt

honestly out of all the nonesense i hear about nintendo's awesome "innovations" claiming they are innovative in the online space is just the biggest joke i heard all year. they are still catching up with last gen console's, never mind actually being on par with next gen ones. give me a break

Ouch!  Someone bumped their Sony-Bone!  What I posted isn't crap, the 360 dashboard looked nothing like it does now when it launched.  After Wii launched and dominated sales, my 360 had a major software update that introduced Avatars that looked just like Miis.  I can see that, I don't know why you can't.  You didn't mention Move and the Wiimote, so by omission I guess you are just agreeing that one was a blatent take-off.  And yes, Miisverse is excellent and innovative.  It's probably the most praised new feature on Wii U.  You should try it.  It's an all-encompassing social network that launched with the Wii U.  Sony is going to implement something similar and I'm sure MS will too, because it's the way of the future.  That's what Ubisoft is saying.

I can appreciate all gaming innovation.  I'm sure GaiKai will be.  I never said it wasn't.  The 360 had a great innovation with the Achievement system that Playstation later copied.  I wish Nintendo would too so I could enjoy it on their systems as well.  Copying is great, if something is good why not enjoy it on every system?  Saying Sony, MS or Nintendo copied something doesn't have anything to do with what system is best to play on.  A system could innovate nothing and still have the best games.  Relax, I'm not trying to hurt you or your Playstation's feelings (it's a machine, it has none).  Show a little class and don't call what I said crap.  The Miiverse framework is going to spread throughout the industry just like analogue sticks, online, motion control, avatars and achievements have before it.  Streaming games might too, but we'll have to see how it impacts the industry.
