I think the main thing was, was that EA wanted it to be 5 million regardless or the franchise was done.
It was never going to sell that following the style of the first 2. So I think Visceral tried their best and ended up with a pretty good game. But didn't make many fans, and alienated some of the old ones.
Aside from the universal ammo, which was a terrible terrible decision I liked that game a lot.
