Does anyone else HATE having to wiggle the analog stick to break free of an enemy?

I hate it. I hate anything that has to do with button-smashing or wiggling the stick. It would be a nice mechanic if it wasn't always stupidly intense. It's just not fun, it's annoying and slightly disorienting.
