big pubs and devs really need to start looking at the mobile space. If they dont act tehir good IP's and names will be ripped off. People want their games on phones and tablets, so they need to start releasing them there.

I don't think just because you have thieves ripping off your intellectual property on mobile games, that means you should automatically start making games for mobile platforms.  There isn't any real competition, as the games the IP thieves are making are merely flim-flams and most people are aware of that.

Besides, this is why Nintendo and other major devs have full legal teams in their employ.  When IP theft and copyright infrindgement are occuring, you use your legal team to get these rip-offs taken down and then if necessary, prosecute the guilty parties.

Most people are not aware that games are rip offs. tehy dont care enough to find out. But what will happen is these ip's images will be damaged and it will be harder to carry over once they do need to release on tablets and phones.

Good luck with the lawyers in china and other countries that just dont care about ip law. their only real recourses would be to go after the marketplaces themselves. Again good luck.
