The problematic WiiU concept and how to market it

We all complain about lack of Nintendo advertising but it is not that simple really. WiiU is different in many ways. The Gamepad is revolutionising the way games are played and it is only when someone experiences it that can get the concept.

I invited two old Wii owners to my home to play with the WiiU and only then they were convinced that this is actually "cool". Up to that stage they wouldn't even consider it as a potential buy.

I cannot foresee any succesful advertising that can explain the concept to the masses. It is probably the same as the 3D concept in the 3DS. The only solution is get the friggin' console out there. To every shopping mall every weekend. Let the gamers see it...
