I dunno.  In my opinion, Banjo Tooie wasn't all that great.  It seems like they ran out of good ideas after BK and just made the game ridiculously large and convoluted.  It felt really bloated and unintuitive.  Just thinking of Cuckoo Cloud Land and Glitter Glutch Mines makes me cringe.  Nuts and Bolts had some rough edges, but it was really creative and charming, and it's my favorite UGC game.

That's not to say that I wouldn't like to have seen Rare take another crack at a platformer (DK64 was pretty good at least) but BK Nuts and Bolts was really good.

Also I think it would help the 360 get more diversity. The 360 has a distinct lack of retail platformers so it could've had a huge one on its hand. Tooie was huge but I still love it. Threeie could've been awesome on the 360 hardware.

N&B wasn't a bad game, but after 8 years of waiting Threeie would've been better, THEN followed by N&B.

B&K barely got a semi-sequel after 8 years of demand... Jet Force Gemini practically has NO chance of ever seeing a sequel. Heck, it will never go on XBLA either.
