Sweet cheeks? Well the majority of sales come from the US you know and that's where it counts. If Microsoft didn't put Europe and Asia on the backburner they'd be leading there too. 360 still leads the PS3 worldwide in hardware and a huge lead in software sale. Give it up, Sony fans just can't acknowledge defeat.

Im going to have to stick my nose in here, but what you've got to remember is the PS3 is a year behind (even more if you count europe) with its release, therefore lets see what the PS3 has sold when its at the stage in its life that the 360 is now. My guess is that it would of sold at least 8 million more units than what the 360 has sold at this stage. So how can you call it defeat? doesnt make sense to me because you cant compare it correctly. So the fact the Ps3 is only 2 million behind at this stage shows its success, and the fact the 360 only had 1 competitor for its first year, while the PS3 has always had 2, shows even more how much better its sold than the 360.

Again how many people who own PS3s actually buy games for it? The PS3 and Xbox 360 are about even in hardware sales. So how do you explain the large gap in software sales? Xbox 360 has sold a total of about 750 million games, and the PS3 has sold about 650 million. Sony can sell all the consoles they want but it doesn't mean anything unless people are actually buying and playing games on it. Because most of the profits comes from the software. That's why game developers were running for the hills when it came to the PS3 because games weren't selling, and they lost many exclusives this gen to Xbox. No matter how you look at it, the Xbox 360 has defeated the PS3 this gen, whether it's in software, hardware, or Xbox Live users.
