Discontinued does not mean there were none left in the retail channel to sale. Just no more being produced by Sony. Once those are sold... its gone.

Can you give an official press release from Sony stating they discontinued the console?

Because they got proven wrong so they probably see no point in commenting back about it.

Fortunatly I wasn't wrong, I merely asked for a press release, and I'm not in a hurry to reply to someone on a messageboard, we humans can do something else in the meantime. Its not a matter of being right or wrong, its about priorities, is your nr1 priority an argument on the internet? Thats pretty sad.
