The fuck are you talking about? DMC didn't do anything better in the west, as a matter of fact it sold less in US/EU than it did in Japan. 2nd: Metal Gear is a bigger name than DMC no matter the continent, it was always gonna sell more than DMC regardless of the quality.

What I mean by that is that the numbers are pretty tight in all region excep for japan that are the double. If it was'nt for japan it would have been extremely tight, DMC who still be ahead. Offcaurse this is first week vs first month, so obviously MGR would have outsold DMC in a extremely close future.

Err... not to be a pain but if you're going to exclude Japan's sales for MGR then you should do the same for DMC, if you do that MGR is still ahead in numbers which is his point.
