They took a random group that had no experience doing the procedure and had them try the simulator. Next they gave half of them a Wii. Do you know what that Wii taught them? To be slow! They are simply taking their time verse the control group.

They are also still horrible at it!

Apparently, the Wii teaches patience which improves the overall score.  The control group was going a lot faster but their scores are far worse.  Sure there are times you have to be very quick being a surgeon but it is probably best that most surgeries happen at a smooth steady pace.
