To me, the PC never was about power, but about different game experiences

but still, nothing wrong with it to play the games you own with the highest possible settings with as many fps as possible because that just increases the quality of the game you like even more. same with mods, skyrim is great on console but it's even better with mods.

I never said that though. I said some were.

but even 20 years ago people compared their computer with each other. i remember the discussion which were like "i have a 486 and you only 386 lololol.

and i remember when people bragged about their new voodoo2 and whatever in school and the first guy who had a notebook was like god for some people.
