You should rename the thread. Should be "My Problems With Nintendo" your OP doesn't have much to do with PS4 or Durango.
OT: 3DS is an amazing system and I personally don't find it to be outdated at all. The graphics are great for a HH system and the 3D still wows me to be honest. The games are still lacking a bit 2 years later though but 2013 looks to be changing that for sure!
As for the Wii U? Don't have one and don't know anybody who has one so I can't properly judge it. With that said, Wii U does look a bit outdated in many respects. The real problem lies with innovation though. Back in 2006, Wii was very outdated in terms of both power and online too. Wii seemed futuristic and ahead of its time in terms of motion controls though. (Just like the DS had a touch screen and duel screens) This time around, Nintendo took the same approach again but this time their "innovation" isn't all that innovative. They still have time to prove the Gamepad, but at this time I must agree with you. Wii U seems very outdated...
