No, it was made in HD and reduce to 240p In its Native resolution Polygon graphics to just make it look more beautiful.
Koonami would never release this game on any other system because of the need for the 3D effect, as they had said themselves for 2D Platforming gaming.
They will never release a 2D version of such games as this & New Super Mario Bros. 2 because it does NOT work when viewed in Monochromatic 2D.
