Guests are being under tracked while DNS servers update and many are being proxied from the old server to the new server, and all the proxied guests appear as 1.
About 35% of traffic is still being proxied. Was probably closer to 70% at time of OP. Number of users is normally a little lower on the weekends.
PS: Currently the DOS detector is far less sensitive as the new server can handle the load from web accelerators and other evil configurations better...
