Not for nothing but the reason why car companies can deal with this. Selling one car (for a quite large sum) also ensures a healthy market of marked up components and repairs which more and more are proprietary parts that you can only buy from _them_.
I support used, but I also support online game passes, account locked DLC, and microtransactions because the truth is at the moment too many games (honestly _good_ games) are not making enough money for their companies to stay afloat. What happens when a developer creates a game of passion (IE the game _they_ want to make and play) and it turns out to be a niche game that very few buy?
Too many gamers these days seem like self entitled little twerps.
Again, I am not really for blocking used games, id rather less DRM than more. But people need stop being so entitled that they think they should be able to buy a game for pennies or pirate it, just because they "wouldn't buy it anyway."
