I dislike these threads so much because they are obviously pro-corporation, anti-consumer.

Who's side are you on?

You are obviously trying to blame used game sales for these companies going under and not those companies making poor business choices and/or making shit games that nobody wanted.

Yes poor choices can be made but I dont support used game sales even if they have made poor choices.  The only industry that has used beside new is the game industry.  People dont buy cars and then take them back 24 hours later and sell it back.  See what im saying?  That is the main problem.  people get a game, play it less than a week then return it and then the cycle repeats its self.  I bet some games get rebought up to 10 times bcause of this.

Then those devs should add more replay value to their games so people don't find the need to dump them off so quickly.

Start shifting the blame where it belongs.

Or maybe the gamers should do their homework and spend their money wisely on only the games they absolutely know they will like? Yes, there will be letdowns still, but the average gamer that goes out and buys used games on a regular basis is typically the type that has very very little knowledge of those games, their reviews, etc. They are much more "casual" and just play games to play them.

Maybe those gamers should start making much more educated buying decisions and buy less games, to stick with NEW games that they really, truly want to play.

I also refer you to my original reply to this thread regarding how blocking used games can have a positive affect, or how the console gamers are the last of the gamers that even have used games, yet you don't hear the other gamers out there complaining.
