Nintendo already blocks third parties in a way. They hold many things back and generally give third parties a hard time by totally ignoring their wishes. I really don't think Nintendo even wants third party blockbusters on their systems. They'd rather have the market to themselves and save money from not investing anything in third party publishers.
This is good or bad depending on how you look at it.
