Weird question. Why do men shave their beards?

Why are we gross? I said how it was before, when we used to live in caves, when men went for hunting sabre-tooth tigers and wrestled with mammoths while their wifes made nice brooms to clean the cave up for their men so they won't beat them for being lazy!
