3DS is doing quite well actually. I think people need to give Vita and Wii U a little more time.
PS4 is making a lot of really smart decisions from what I've seen, and I think it will actually do quite well it's first year.
As for the Wii U, really, don't kill it yet. This holiday we are for sure getting WW HD, probably 3D mario or Mario Kart (perhaps both) and it will have W101, Bayo2, and Pikmin 3 in it's library. It will do fine it's second holiday.
Vita really just needs the games, it doesn't really have a game you can point to that is driving sales. I think it's Backlibrary is great, but it needs 2 or 3 big games that sell the system. (God of War, GT, GTA, etc.) if it gets one of those games along with a price cut, I could see it doing much better.
Next gen is not as glum as everyone says it is. Time will prove this.
