what people are forgeting is that the PS4 and xbox720 can very much be in the same situation as the WiiU. just like the 3DS nintendo can turn things around. a price cut happening at the same time as some big tittles releasing can make sales increase by a really good amount. the thing is, people are assuming (much like they did with the WiiU) that the next gen consoles from sony and ms will have a great start. there are many many factors that will detrmine the sales of both consoles and we really cant say now who will win the generation.
though if i have to predict now, i would say the WiiU will come in last, not because of what the PS4 and 720 would be like. but because of nintendo's own shortcomings with the WiiU
