The future doesnt look as far as that idea is going - hopefully they dont go the "Vita" method when it comes to b/c although I can see it happening...at least with PS3 physical copies.

It's a shame that I can't play Crisis Core on the Vita, but they did the right thing in my opinion. Nobody wants noisy, expensive, large UMDs in their handhelds anymore.

The PS4's only option for backwards compatibility for the PS3 would be through Gaikai. I don't see how physical copies of PS3 games and Gaikai would work together.
