I can understand the fact that the games bought for PS3 won't work for PS4. But the games that will run through Gaikai's remote play (which can have any PS game playable) will work, because the actual gave is being run on a remote server. So why can't Sony just let people who have bought a digital PS3 game on their PSN account have a copy of the game on their streaming service?

What Gaikai can do hasn't been fully confirmed yet, it's possible PSN titles will be backwards compatible through Gaikai, but how it will be paid for is also unkown.
