I think Nintendo did it right last gen. F--- the elitest core gamer crowd and connect with an audience that enjoys the type of games that Nintendo makes. The problem with 3DS/WiiU is they pandered to the 'core' market only to be shunned once again. They should have stayed focused on the market they won with DS/Wii.

IF Nintendo drops out of the hardware end - which I doubt they will do - they'll make a killing with Pokemon, Mario, Donkey Kong Country, Kirby, etc., etc. on iOS/Android devices. Any of their main franchises would be downloaded millions of time in the first week and they'd reach a far, far larger and far, far more accepting audience there than making games for PS4/720.
