Who said anything about the Microsoft fans on this site wanting to see the downfall of Nintendo. These two lobbies on these forums have been natural allies throughout the coarse of the previous generation. As far as I can tell they are still allies. Microsoft even went so far as to suggest to gamers that buying a Wii and a 360 was better then buying just a PS3. Would they have said that if there was animosity, would people who owned both consoles have proudly proclaimed their status as Wii60 owners if this were the case.

Even if Nintendo cannot maintain a presence in the console market. I expect the majority of the brands players to come over to Microsoft's platform. I also expect that Nintendo itself will probably heavily support Microsoft's new platform. If Nintendo is forced out we mustn't forget that it would have had everything to do with all the pressure that Sony put on Nintendo. Microsoft after all isn't selling portables, and the company even allowed Rare to keep developing games for Nintendo portables until just a few years ago, and then Rare started to work heavily on games for Kinect.

Being honest about the situation isn't the same as hating, or actively trying to force someone out, or even making someone feel unwelcome. When a Microsoft fan sees a problem they usually try to find a way to solve that problem. That lobby isn't the one attacking Nintendo, or Nintendo fans, and it sure as hell isn't taking pleasure in the discomfort of either. I will grant you that many Sony fans are taunting Nintendo fans, and trying to cause pain, but Microsoft fans are just discussing the problem itself.
