Monster hunter tri had already been sold to death in Japan. Wii owners had bought it, 3ds owners had bought it. The only thing the wii u version had in advantage was online, but in Japan that really doesn't matter.


It was also released on the PSP and PS3 under the name MH Portable 3rd so the game has been released 4 times before and the Wii U version is the fifth time MH3 is getting released. >_<
